Strength:

Awesome power (Modified these amps can put out close to 1800 watts)
These amps never get hot
They look very clean (I had the heatsinks polished and have 3 amps mounted flush together and it looks like 1 huge amp)
Small but powerful!!! These amps aren't as large as most that put out the same power, which is good or bad depending on whether you'd rather blow someone away with the sound of your system or the size of your amps.

Weakness:

The plugs that connect the speaker wire into the amp and the remote power are a bit flimsy, and a pain to set up, but once they're set your good to go.

I have 2 of these amps pushing a pair of Audio Art 15s in a Corrado. We built the system almost 4 years ago and it still pounds out a 150 without cranking up the gains and with less than optimal power. (The loudest it ever registered was 153, which was exceptional 3.5 years ago.) The car the system is in has basically been in storage for the last couple years until this summer. But the last couple months I have pushed the stereo pretty hard again and once again my friends and I are very impressed with the power and sound put out by these amps.

Going through my teenage and college years I went through several systems and tons of amps. I finally found a system I am completely happy with which has been able to withstand the beating of several competitions and years of use. Overall, I have been surprised by the longevity and reliability of all my Mmats amps.

To get the most out of your system with these amps I'd highly recommend a Phoenix Gold Bass Cube, a good crossover, and of course plenty of battery power and capacitance. (You'll probably want a 2 farad cap for each D300HC.) Also, be sure to match up your impediance to that of this amp... this amp should be run at 2 ohms....

I'd highly recommend these amps to anyone who wants serious power.... They last forever, are small, reliable, look good, don't get hot or cut out, put out tons of power... need I say more.... (If you want to see some pics visit http://www.katterconsulting.com/corrado/index.html)

Strength:

Uber powerful. Small. Highly efficient. Stays cool all of the time.

Weakness:

Turn on pop. Expensive if you don't buy used.

This amp is incredible. Definitely the highlight of my system. It stays cool, it doesn't draw too much power, it's GREATLY underrated, and it doesn't take up much space. I don't know how anyone can say it has bad SQ, because I sure can't tell the difference between this amp and class a/b amps on my subs. The only problem is the turn on pop, but it doesn't bother me at all. All those Fosgate and MTX junkies don't know what they're missing (the laugh when I tell them the brand name, they think it is similar to Pyramid).

Strength:

Mind altering bass. Very efficient without the heat. It runs cold. Very small, and easily mounted.

Weakness:

None

If you ant bass go for this amp. It is a class D so its efficient, but still needs juice. Add on a bass cube and this thing throws. Whatch out for looks, and fingers, cus your stuffs too loud. Amazing amp, in my opinion cannot be beat.

Strength:

it's a small amp, never even gets warm, doesn't drain my stock electrical system, and it puts out a ton of power.

Weakness:

isn't water proof, and kinda expensive.

I currently have 2 of these amps running 4 12" solo barics and they pound. And I'm not even using all the power they can produce. If you have the money and really want to compete I would recommend these monsters. But for a normal person they really are too expensive.

This thing is small in size yet huge in power i have 2 12"s and i got 146.5 db. i know thats not that good but im getting new subs

Weakness:

seriously none, this amp is the sh!t if u know what ur doing. with this amp u need either dual 2 ohm subs or single 4 ohm subs. if u run the amp at 1 ohm its roughly 1700 watts rms and thats a sh!tload, but it cuts out occasionally. this amp is meant for 2 ohms so make sure ur subs can produce a 2 ohm load with a mono amp

This amp makes people hear me from down the road about 3 miles before hand, its small lightweight and very very powerful. most amps if they are powerful at all they are like 69 ft long this one is 1 ft long BUY THIS IF U WANT FU(KlN POWER

Strength:

Crap loads of raw power and runs cool.

Weakness:

i was warned ahead of time about the turn on thump...but it is a little loud...read in a magazine one time "whats a little pop if you need 1500+w.
This beast needs LOTS of current.

if you go to contest...dont buy this amp...it sux.(im telling you that cuz i dont wanna get beat.)
otherwise...here's my summary:
if you compete or plan to, you better have one.
if you want very clear, clean, accurate bass...buy a class AB amp.

had reference 700 on same speakers with sealed box...now im running a bandpass box.its not as clean, but the amount of available power makes up for it.

1200 watts of mind bending noise

Weakness:

Adjusting it, confusing hookups, Not clean enough, blew up

I bought this amp because my little Soundstream 300 watt amp wasn't cutting it with my JL 12W3's. I wanted more power, without each bass note draining my battery, and this amp delivered. It made those JL's jump like they were built to. For the most part, I loved this amp. But I did find a few things annoying... First, Cleanliness of the outputs, I'd have liked a little cleaner power from it, though it's Class D design did help make it cleaner than many. The amp is monno, yet has two sets of speaker outs... Confusing at first.

Adjusting it is a real BEAR. See, mine was sunk into a false floor, so getting around the heatsink (Which extends over the knobs and connectors to hide them) was a real pain in the ass. And forget about adjusting it once it's in. Make sure you're happy with it before you screw it down.

Finally, mine blew up. Smoke, fire, half of power bar gone. Yep that sucked. Still, if you want to make your speakers thump, this thing has the power to do it. I had my gains set WAY down and it was still amazingly loud. If this thing had been turned all the way up, my trunk lid would have oscilated with the bass notes. Havn't decided on it's replacement... Either McIntosh (If I can afford it) or another one of these D300HC's probably...

Strength:

The amp is a powerful amp that stay's cool and is simple in connecting. It is rated 1200 watts rms @ 2 0hms, and is a Class D amplifier that is very energy efficient for the vehicle.

Weakness:

The knobs seem to be a bit flimsy, and the terminals are hard to access once the amplifier has been mounted

$650 with warranty. I would recommend this amp for SPL competitions and for regular playing use. I myself am going to be purchasing 3 more of these amps.

Strength:

Actually, mine is the MMATS D200HC Nickel plated. Relentless power output! Dynamic power must exceed 2000 watts! Very installer friendly due to small chasis. Heatsink never feels hot no matter how hard I play it! No problems playing low impedanced loads. I ran mine at one ohm and it never choked. This amp delivered excessive power to 3 JL Audio 15W6's. 150DB level of performance with no sweat.

Weakness:

At times, sound it either too boomy or muddy depending on the recording. Sound quality of this amp strongly depends on how tight the recording is.

Any person needing an amplifier to be very effecient, is cramped for space, and desires to run a low impedance load on their multiple subwoofer set up, this amp will meet and probably exceed their expectations. All the other amps require a high level gain to achieve satisfactory performance. MMATS was the exception. It jammed at gain levels set to dead center. I am very happy with my amp and would defenitely recommend it!!!!!

Soundstream Class A 10.0 chrome. Better sound quality BUT, not very reliable. Heats very fast! 10.0 only performs as well as your electrical system. Be careful, or you will have to have it serviced.
