i have 2 punch power t1's and i had a punch 8002 amp on then and it didnt do the job so i was looking around and i seen the mtx 1501d i have one before that was 800 watts but it got stolen from me and that one has ball it was was blown subs i had just was too much power but the amp i have now is the greats there is nothing out now thaat can touch it unless ur paying 1200.00 for somthing.

This amp has some balls. I have two 15 inch L7's and a small ported box and hit 150db on the audiocontrol. I would definatly reccomend this amp to anybody that needs good solid AMERICAN MADE power for a awesome price.

I just replaced my Memphis 16-MCD1000(1100 watts) with the MTX 1501D. WOW! It's like night and day. The 1501D is a BEAST. Just massive amount of power with great SQ. It's just beating the hell out of my L7s. I am very impressed. If you are looking for power.this is the one. I have owned Memphis, Rockford Fosgate and Audiobahn and this one has impressed me the most. I really have'nt been a big MTX fan in the past. But when I told the car audio guy what I was looking for to push them 2 L7s he pulled that 1501D out of the box and I thought "yeah right". He told me to take it and try it out and if I did not like it bring it back for a full refund. So i tried it and I am glad I did. Worth every penny. ROCK-ON!!!!

Power, price, and overal performance

I work for Circuit City and have seen hundreds of amps and this is the nicest amp i have seen and used. This amp has serious power and grreat response. I am running 4 (yes 4) Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1d of theese on this one amp. I run it at 2ohms and with o gauge power wire, so it is never starving for power. This amp never even gets warm and the gains on the amp are maxed. If you need some serious power and are on a budget this amp will get the job done.

Lots of juice, 1000 watts into one sub. Very clean power considering.

Only 2ohm stable, I would kill to add another 9500 but it would drop it below it's operating range. I might try it anyway and see if it gets warm or not.

This is a great amplifier for the money. I have it running a 12" 9500 MTX dual voice coil sub and it pounds, 142.9db. It has never been warm or clipped at any level, this thing is indistructable!

American made! We do audio better than any other country. Unbelieveable power at half capacity. This amp is chilling, relaxing with a drink while it's kicking you in the back like a spastic child is in your back seat.

Once you've experienced this thing. You will not sleep good untill you know one is in your car. Ask 4 of my friends not to mention hearing it is what got me started on it

O.K. I feel compeled to convey to you the serious power of this AMP. I have had many High end amps. This one is so powerfull and so much cheaper than any other amp in it's class. At the risk of sounding vain, My father used to be the presedent of eg and g bircher in El toro, CA. They made ALL of rockford fosgates amp housings ( cooling fin ) for them. He go me some big really expensive amps from them for free. Mosfet 650 gold plated e.t.c. Not one could come near the MTX 1501D. Trust me. I have it hooked to two sealed Alpine type R Subs and they are dual voice coil 8 ohm speakers. The amp being mono paralles any thing in half. So I am running it at 4 ohm's. Half of its capacity. I cant imagine the spine tingling power this thing would produce with a 2 ohm load.
