Mounting the amps can be a little tricky.

Where do I begin?! I have 3 of these amps along with a 275G4. I have to admit I was doubtful that the 225 could outpower/sound better than my Phoenix Gold ZX450. Let me tell you, the 225 blew the ZX450 away! Other than the mounting system I love these amps. Plus I gt a great deal on these amps! I would recomend these to anyone who loves music SPL or SQ! Go out and buy one now!

Phoenix Gold ZX series

Great cosmetic design.Very easy to work with.The detachable wire terminals are a plus.Excellent sound.This amp has every option I wanted and some I didn't even know it had.The built in subsonic filter is a major plus for those people who know what it is and how to use it.I have heard other older orion products but I think they really found a winner with the HCCA series.I am buying an entire Orion setup and I will not regret the money loss because it will be worth every penny.

The amp weighs almost nothing. Although I don't think that is a weakness.

I would recommend this amp and the other amp in this series to anyone who know what they are doing.These people include anyone who enjoys great sounding music NOT loud music.Don't get me wrong, these amps put out some serious power but I think they are more for audiophiles.Now for the people who shouldn't buy this amp.If you don't know what audiophile means, then don't buy this amp because you shouldn't be allowed to even touch it.If you are one of these people who don't know what they are talking about, stay away from Orion products and go buy Roadgear or Optimus.Now some people might think that I am being mean but it is people who build stereo's just for loud noise that give audiophiles a bad name.I used to be one of these described people until I was taken under the wing of an audiophile and told that I don't know jack squat about car audio.I now condsider myself very knowledgable about car audio.Basically becasue I know what I'm talking about and other car audio professionals agree with that statement, I feel that I can make review summary and feel that I have a very large part of the car audio world agreeing with me.
