So my cousin gave me this amp when i was new to the system world. I didnt know who Phoenix Gold was and figured they were just some knockoff brand. When I hooked it up, I found out how stupid/wrong I was. I'm only using some Sony XS-121P5 subs, and with my bass/sub level all theway down on the cd receiver it knocks like crazy. I have a tsunami 2 farad capacitor that is supposed to handle 1000 watts and it uses up much of that. I know they've discontinued these amps, but if you can find a second hand one in good condition i'd definitely recommend it. Blue triangle LEDs look nice wiht a blue lighting scheme as well.

This is a very cleam amp. Nice look. It''s very clear and works great with my eclipse head unit. It even powers me 2000 watt power dvc''s very nicely. Gget it if you get the chance.

i have 2 12`s Eclipse Aluminum[88120DvC] each sub getting 1 amp bridged about 600 watts and its sounds great

This amp really hits. I blew a set of Lanzar DC pro seris subs. I now have some kickers but they don't do the job like the Lanzers did. I'm about to add on 2 infinity perfects to it and see what that sounds like! Will keep you posted!

This thing takes juice by the gallon! I only have a stock alternator but I have a 1 F cap and its dimming the lights! Its rated at 600 watts rms so I shouldn't really need the full farad of capacitance... but I need more! Its a class A/B amp though.
Excellent sound quality! Great for any application (ie. bass, midbass, or highs) The amp itself is quite small but is packed with features and power.
The 1507 was a great amp but it got so hot you could melt something on it. The zx600ti gets luke warm and also has a thermal shut-off feature if the amp gets above a certain temp. The power indicator looks like the weapon the Predator used in the movie... f*#@ing cool!
An audiophile piece that I would recommend to everyone -- that have the money!

The power of this amplifier is unmatched in its class. It never shuts off no matter what. No power up "thump", excellent. Sound quality is the best I've heard from an amp in this price range.

This amp will dim your lights and make you have to change your alternator unless you get good capacitors.

I've always been a Phoenix Gold fanatic. I love their amps. This amp in my opinion is a "cheater" amp. It can push any pair of subs that you can buy for your car. If you're looking for continuous power to your subs then look no further. I run this amp to a pair of 12 inch JL Audio W6's and have been doing so for almost 3 years. In almost 3 years, this amp has never ever gotten hot to the point that it has to shut off power supply. When I'm riding, I keep it juiced up for long periods of time and it loves it. Before you go out and buy this amp, be sure that you have good subs or else you will probably blow them.
