Well, I have this amp mated to my Nakamichi 7" sub in a lexus and the bass is clear, tight and smooth right up until the speaker can't handle the power anymore. even though this is one of the cheapest amps on teh market, I would recommend it for a sub amp to anyone. Can't really make a comment on it's use for mains.
