Strength:

Umm haven't got to use it yet but I am awaiting it to come to my house. Seems like it would be a good amplifier I'll come back for the actual review when I receive (:

Weakness:

By the looks of the other reviews it must be a strong amp.

I used to have a RF Punch 60.2 insides where similar to this 250.2 and that amp pushed my subs quite hard! Will review it when it comes....

Strength:

Power meets or exceeds specs. Lots of features.

Weakness:

Price (you''re paying for the RF name of course).

Overall not a bad amp. I''m using it bridged to power a single Cerwin Vega Stealth10" sub. Easy to hook up and install, looks good aesthetically, and is LOUD! It kicks out good clean power with practically no noise. The remote bass boost is a handy feature to have. Lets you know if there is a problem with wiring (audible warning) and is very good at protecting itself from short-circuiting. My ground wire has come loose several times with no damage to the amp. I recommend it for powering a sub in bridged mono.

Strength:

Underrated power. Makes my 12" sub pound. Rockford fosgate says its not for 2 ohm mono, but again, I feel they are playing it safe.

Weakness:

Havent found any. Still a possibilty that it may become unstable in 2 ohm mono, but im pushing a 1000W peak sub with it and its never cut out once.

This is my first amp/sub combo, so I don''t have too much experience. All I can say is this amp came with a certificate stating it was tested at 414 watts all channels driven into 2 ohms. I have it hooked up mono 2 ohm to a 12" DVC RF sub rated at 1000W peak. I have blasted songs with lots of bass and I have never had it cut out on me. In all honesty however, the longest ive ever kept it really really loud was maybe a straight ten minutes, so it may become unstable in 2 ohm mono if you push it harder. It delivers plenty of punch to the 1000W (500W rms) sub. My friends who have more experience with systems have all been very impressed with the power this very underrated amp puts to the sub. Great amp! Try to get one for under $180 online. I have a complete set of Rockford Fosagate speakers, and now I can say their amps impress me equally as well if not better.

for similar prices I hear MTX offers some very high quality underrated amps.
