great low bass easy hook ups and cheaper than yours

its only down to 2ohm

i just got this amp the punch 125.2 i think its the same one yall talking about got it the other dat from a budy of mine he got all audio bahn sold me his punch amp for 50$$ thats an awsome deal no car yet but i did hook it up in my friends 2001 ford ranger pushing a pioneer premier 12 had to turn it down alot too mutch for it but sweet

OVERHEATING!

i have 2 punch he subs bridged@4ohm load in a 2000 f-150 running off my 600 being a 4 channal amp i had a bit of a hard time setting my gains but the amp has a very clean and powerful tone but over heats very quickly causeing cliping of power,i`ve been a fosgate fan for years .i still have a punch 100x2 that i have ran in a 2 ohm mono load for years with no problems may be thay relly don`t make them the way thay use to!

SQ, power, flexibility

Gets extremely hot, causing amp to turn itself on and off repeatedly in warm weather

This amp has good sound quality, and quite a bit of power. I seem to have major overheating problems with mine, however. Currently, I am only running 2 of the channels to an Aura 5.25" component set. The amp is mounted (and this may be the root of the problem) in the hatch area (solar oven) of my '92 Firebird. In the *cough* "warm" summer months in Arizona, the amp will play for about 10 minutes, then it will begin a cycle of shutting itself off, waiting ~5 seconds, then coming back on for ~5 seconds, then off, etc. Really bloody annoying. I don't know if this is indicative of the design, or if I simply have a bad unit. If the outside temperature is below 80, it will run for a few hours.

The reason I purchased this amp is because my subwoofer amp is a '98 Rockford 125.2 which I LOVE, and I wanted my amps to match cosmetically. Knowing what I know now, I would probably not purchase this amp again.

The best thing about this amp is its versatility. This one amp powers my entire system. I have the front two channels running at 2 ohms powering 4 Rockford Fosgate FRC 1257 (Full Range Coaxials 5”x7”) speakers, and the rear two channels are bridged to a 4 ohm load powering 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch XLC 8 ohm 10” subs. The amp supplies plenty of power: (75 watts RMS x 4 @ 4 ohms stereo / 150 watts RMS x 4 @ 2 ohms stereo / 300 watts RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms mono).

It is very hard to get good bass in a convertible (especially when only small sealed enclosures fit in the trunk), so the only regret I have is that I had more power for my subs. I should have got either the G800a4 or a G500a2 for my Subs and a G250a2 for my speakers.

Versatility is the key, in my opinion. This one amp is powering 6 speakers (4 coaxials and 2 subs); and it has never shut off or gotten extremely hot. However, this amp is rather difficult to operate, install, and maintain: it's not for beginners. Rockford backs this product with a 3 year warranty (assuming you bought the product from an authorized dealer - not on the internet) - which is longer than any other company. That's why everything in my car is Rockford!

I have used MTX’s RT2200 & T250x models. The MTX 2 channel models are more powerful, but their multi channel amplifiers have poor bridged power and are not good at powering subs. My goal was to power both my subs and speakers with one amp.

Bought the amp to power my 2 12" JBL GT series 12"s, kicks the hell out of them. sounds KILLER.

overheats... doesnt like 4 chans bridged into 2 channels.

Overall a nice amp if your planning to run 2 speaks+sub, or 4 speakers, but dont bet on that amp holding up if your pushing 2 12"s

Plenty of power pumping continuously! Plenty of ways to run it with no lose of power. No too big of an amp.

bass boost buttons broke on me. that sucks. but other than that nothing!

I've got this running 2 Fosgate 12s and it kills them. keeps them happy and thumbin all day long. alot better than the Kenwood that i had running the same subs before. Definately worth the money.

Provides plenty of power to any system configuration.

I'm using this amp to power two Infinity Perfect speakers and a JL 12w6 subwoofer. It makes my sub hit HARD and my fronts give off very high notes. I immediately heard the difference after I installed this amp in my car. Would recommend to anyone looking to power 2 front speakers and one subwoofer. It would also go great with 4 speakers or 2 subwoofers.

Sound quality and power.

Have not found any.

Very nice amp. I use it in my iasca competition car. It powers a component set MB Quart 215.61 Q series nicely. Good sound quality and power. Never overheated on me. I use all rockford amps (4) and would recommend this amp to anyone needing 75 watts x 4 of good clean power.

I own two of these badboys, one running my 4 pold Db components, the other running 2 RF punch power DVC subs. The sound quality in the speakers is excellent, very loud crisp and clear. I would definetly recomend for anyone intreasted in powerinf 4 speakers.
As far as the amp powering the subs it hits hard and deep however after a long playing time (2hrs) the sub gets overheated and begins the temp cycle.
but powering two 10's at 133db is nothing to scoff at
