Goes from very clean to outright distortion beyond 75% input gain, not nearly as loud as the same model from the early '90s, Fosgate warranty repair takes longer than it really should.

These amps are very good for the money. Most run between 53%-59% efficiency, pretty sad compared to similar models from just a few years ago. Fosgate sold out to cost-cutting mass production and lost sight of the quality that put them at the top of audio equipment a few years ago. I'm running two 800a4's in my Trans Am, and I really couldn't ask for more.

You get what you pay for lost of power

I baught it for my subs so when i upgraded i could use it for my interior speakers so my dvcs have to be wired to 8ohm and they just arnt getting enough power.

I like it but i have a bd100a1 on the way now so hopefully my subs will slam

Not as good as older model RF amps

These amps are way underated. They are supposed to have 800 watts of total power but the spec sheet I recieved with mine had it tested at 1140 watts.
