Strength:

Crystal clear highs. Transparent-sounding - doesn't color source. Flexible - 3 sets of inputs, as well as speaker-level inputs. Incredible EQ adjustment and crossover capabilities. (Which I don't use, since these types of circuits tend to color the sound) Amp has "bypass" mode to avoid EQ circuitry.

Weakness:

A little more power in the subwoofer channel would be a plus.

Excellent car amplifier. Clean highs, balanced mids, tight bass with appropriate subwoofer. Currently running it with a Sony CDX-M770 deck (5.5v preouts) with stock speakers in my 2001 VW Jetta, and a JL Audio W0 10" subwoofer in a sealed box. Unbelievable clarity and definition.

Strength:

Looks good, lots of options/flexabilty, nice sound, graphic is great.

Weakness:

dosent last long, quit big, and i paid to much for it 309.00 GBP, US sells it for half what i paid, but thats rip off britain, try www.onlinecarstereo.com

Well how do i start, this amp was everything i needed, it runs my 10" Sub, my front componants, and my rear 6x9s, it sounded great, untill yesterday it went POP, what a load of crap, i have had many AMPS in my time (when i was younger) and none of them failed, this was my first Sony and untill this happened i was very inpressed, the amp is just over a year old and im hoping that somthing can be done< if not it will be a well worded letter to sony!

Strength:

The equalizer is really a nice feature. Between the eq and the filters there is a lot of fine tuning you can do with this amp. It's also very versatile.

Weakness:

I get a lot of engine noise with this amp that I didn't get from my Alpine. I turned the gain down and that helped a lot.

I've got two of these and they are very loud. They give plenty of power to complete and entire system and the different ways you can hook them up is a real advantage. It takes 2 or 3 RCA inputs or speaker level inputs if your deck has no RCA preouts. Pretty nifty if you wanted to keep the stock deck for appearance. Anyway, I think they sound great too.

Strength:

Super easy to set up. Built in crossover and eq makes all the differance

Weakness:

Sub channel could use a little more power. Say 150 watts. I think that would even it out a little more.

Easy set up, easy configuration. Little light in the bottom, but if you want clean sound with good detail. You can'f beat this amp for the money.
