Strength:

Hi and Lo pass crossovers, preamp outputs, bass boost, great price

Weakness:

small brand name

I paid only $200 for this amp, and it is well worth every penny. I was aprehensive about buying a little known brand name but this one has really impressed me. I have not had enough experience with various brand names to make an accurate comparison. However, this amp puts out 100 watts x2 and 300 rms. I have it powering an Infinity Kappa Perfect 12" and it kicks. The bass boost is very helpful for running a sub really loud. I would recommend it to anyone, but especially those on a tight budget. I would look at one of these and a Sony. See what YOU think.

Strength:

If anything USA anps put out more power than they say. I run 4 12" subs of this amp and put out 158db.

Weakness:

Its never clipped or overloaded

This amp is about the best deal you can find anywhere for the money you spend. I don't know if these little internet kids write up fake reviews, but I wouldn't put any bearing in the bad ones. I have used alphasonic for years and now USA and never have I had a problem. These kids try to wire there own equipment and probably ground the speaker wires or short them and then blame the amp.

Strength:

powerful, price

Weakness:

thermal overload,needs an internal fan,crossover

This amp is very reliable, and a good amp. It will do the job. I recommed running it through a good crossover because the built in one isnt very good. If you boost its signal it will crank out some serious bass. Buy it if you want good quality sound without eating rice and water. Be reasonable, try to run something within its power ability and you will not be dissapointed. I would definately buy another usacoustics amp in the future, best bang for the least $$$.

Model Reviewed: Several USA amps

Strength:

Its heavy

Weakness:

Very sensitive to over-voltages, inputs cant take anything more than 2V, be careful if you bridge it...cuz it cant take much.

Well a review? Ive got a USA 2100 sitting on my bench...and its probably the third one I have repaired for individuals. (the one im specifically talking about lasted about 6 mo's)
THEN when I get them up and running..(which usually costs the price of a new amplifier) I laugh at the quality it puts out. By the Way...WHO is USA Acoustics? The boards say Alphasonik on the top side, the bottom side of the PCB says Zed Audio. Hrm..looks like they had trouble making up their mind. Chips are also from Zed Audio, (good luck getting parts!) Some are better than others, but I do not recommend this amplifier to any audiophiles. This would be a "Filler" amp to just poke around with or a good heat sink for an amp project. Whatever you paid, it was too much. SOrry USA, Try again.

Strength:

I've got this amp hooked up to 2 10" kickers; the speakers give out long before the amp does.I had to turn the bass boost down.PUSHES THE SPEAKERS WITH NO PROBLEM.

Weakness:

I have not found a weakness in this amp yet.

Paid $199 plus tax from crutchfeild. I highly recommend this amp. Very nice looking and very powereful!

The USAcoustics USA2100 is the worst amp I ever used. They lie about the power it pumps out. It says it can do 100 watts to 2 speakers. I was running 2 10 inch rockford fosgates punch subs and it could bearly move them. The subs are rated at 100 watts RMS. I got the Infinity Kappa 102a to replace it for 50 dollars more and wow was I surprised how much the USAcoustics suck. I would not reccomend this amp to anyone. P.S I would not be surprised if this amp had trouble running a pair of tweeters.

I have two of these, each one is bridged and running a 12 inch svc sub. According to the specs listed this amp should be capable of putting out 300 watts when bridged. I think not. There is no way this amp can put out 300 wats bridged. While it provides sufficient power to run each sub I think the manufacture may have been too generous power rating wise.
