Strength:

Looks awesome but mine doesn't power up. I don't know much about it yet.

Weakness:

The red light comes on but won't power up. Was going to put my 12" Brutus by Highphonics on it if I can fix it.

Strength:

(Accssory Ports LFQ45 bass chip, many many options)Mono amp, way underrated.

Weakness:

No inner fuse

About 3 weeks ago my Xtant 121m went out, had no sound but was getting power. This amp is capable of thumping 2 12's with the LFQ45 bass chip. The Xtant 121m is a great amp, so great that I bought another one just about a week ago. Now I just need to get the old one fixed and then I may just use both amps.

Strength:

small design,VERY underated

Weakness:

no built in fuse

This amp is extremely powerful. It is rated at 250x1 but it is very underated. I also have the 12db crossover chip in it. I am rumming two ma audio 1200xl subs with it in a van and they pound the piss out of it. The subs are 500watt rms and the amp keeps right up. It has never got hot or kicked. I used to use a mtx 501d but it took so much power that my lights would flick with a 3 fared cap, and it didn't produce the power it was rated for. XTANT IS THE REAL THING!!!

Strength:

underrated, never shut down/overheated, many expansion possibilities

Weakness:

none so far (been over 4 years)

equipped with the LFQ45 bass chip, this baby pumps out 250 watts to two Rockford Fosgate 12's (discontinued) rated at 200w rms each. The Rockford's can't handle the power. This amp is very underrated and the bass chip really boosts that 45hz mark. Very reliable.

Strength:

underrated-bass chips-packs a punch for it's size.

Weakness:

only 2 or 4 ohms uses all of its wattage

Hello everyone! I've had a 121m amp for over a year. And it is the best that I have ever heard, if I say so myself. It has been going strong for over a year and I have had not one problem with it. And the good part about mines is that mines have a bass chip added to it (Oh my goodness) But unfortunately I need to get rid of it. I am running two 8ohm mtx's to it and they are running well even at 8ohms. The price is $350 for anyone that is interested. Thanks!

Strength:

Sound Quality, looks cool!

Weakness:

Not very reliable, has cheap, small gain control.

This amp is ideal for sound quality. It runs my Focal 27Vs at 3 ohms without any trouble. Bought it at less than one third the price, so I am very happy!! Try looking for it on Ebay as it is alot cheaper than buying it new.

Strength:

tons of power, sounds clean

Weakness:

funky design

This amp is awesome. It sounds clean and packs a lot of power. I had it bridged at 2 ohm on a ported 10 inch Kicker L7 and it was making the sub bottom out. I currently have it running to 2 10 inch JL Audio W3s and it about to blow those subs clean out of their cone. This is the first Phoenix Gold product I've ever used and I am extremely impressed it.

Clean, looks, power

Weakness:

I guess power, but run the right subs and they're fine

Sweet amps. I bought my first one and ran it to one of Xtant's subs. It blew it up. I put various other subs to it and it blew them up too. Then I bought another 121m at a discount for $100 and I ran each to a 10" 800W 6ohm MA Audio sub and it was the cleanest sounding bass I've ever heard.

Wonderful amplifier with very tight bass. Strong low end as well. I have it running a jl 12w3. Combo gives out tight responsive bass with minimal to no distortion. HIGHLY recommend.
