Does get a little Hot! Built in fan does the job. Loves battery power so beef it up. Must use external fuse 80amp.

When amplifier arrived we put it thru a compare test between the Eclipse 4 channel 160 watt. Both running a pair of Diamond Audio S600s Components. We heard the Eclipse first then switch to the Xtant 403a. Sound quality from the Xtant was noticably alot stronger and cleaner. Looks like the Xtant will not be leaving my truck. It's here to stay.

i couldnt possibly imagine a weakness for this amp.

absolute unbelievable amp. rated at 2x50 & 1x100 @ 4ohm; 2X100 & 1x200 @ 2ohm. this amp definitely pushes more than that. cleanest amp I have ever dealt with. I have installed many other brands of amps in other cars and none give you as much satisfaction as this amp. the mono channel on this amp rocks, pure unadulterate power. if you are looking for one amp to run your system i would definitely reccomend looking into this one! i am pushing mb quart components and 6x9s on 2 channels and a 10 inch mb quart sub on the other channel in my 3000GT and i could not possibly want more from an amp.
