Strength:

Price, has front panel input, probably very unattractive to thieves.

Weakness:

Fisher-Price styling, poor tuner performance.

Bought this radio as a cheap way to hook up an external MP3 player, and that''s about all it''s good for. FM and AM reception are dreadful... I hooked up an old Aiwa walkman through the input and picked up more stations with only the headphone wire as the antenna! The front panel blinks like a pinball machine when you change the volume, and there''s no way to defeat it. Passed up buying a Radio Shack receiver which also has a front panel input but I can''t imagine it''s any worse than this unit. Aiwa used to offer good value for the money but since the Sony takeover it''s looking more and more like "you get what you pay for."
