Strength:

The H-Bass(High Bass) is awesome, my factory 6x9's by Delco Electronics make my windows and my trunk rattle like I have subs! It plays CD-R's and CD-RW's, very easy to install and take out! Looks great in any car, and it's very affordable. Fake alarm system light is very nice to have.

Weakness:

When you take off the faceplate, there is the fake alarm system light, but directly abouve it is the picture that shows how to put on the faceplate. This shows anyone that looks carefully that the light is a fake.

Best cd player I have owned so far. One of the best bass boosting cd players I have ever seen. Can turn any rear speakers into bass pounding machines. For a little over $100, or even less on Ebay, this is one of the best cd players you can find!

Strength:

Powerful (45Wx4), good bass boost in midrange, durable, security light, comes with good mounting hardware and instructions.

Weakness:

None

I purchased this CD receiver after having an Aiwa shelf system that was absolutely awesome. This CD Player has NOTHING wrong with it. You get a wide range of bass/treble adjustments (+-7) and quality midrange bass boost. It cranks and tolerates the heat produced by my truck. Also, it's the most durable product I have ever used. I wrecked my previous car with a CD playing in the dash. The Aiwa got thrown back towards the firewall. Amazingly, it played perfectly after hooking it up in my new car! Go Aiwa!

Strength:

Ease of use, CD rewritable playback, MP3 output, and the ability to ues in the sun.

Weakness:

Didn't find this stereo sooner

Generally I try to avoid Best Buy, however I needed a cheap stereo as a temporary fix for a car I was planing to sell. I was plesantly surprised in how well it sounded. Actually I ended up keeping it and gave them my pioneer which originally cost me $280. I was impressed with the ease of use and sound quality compared to my pioneer. The CD rewriteable play back is a huge plus. It also has an output for a MP3 player. I have also used that output to play a tape from my walkman. Don't ask why. One of the best features is you can actually read it in the sunlight. Most of my Alpine's you can not read in the sun. For a $100 stereo this is hard to beat. I can not think of a better buy, so therefore I will call it a best buy. lol. As a side note do the install yourself if you are the least bit capable of reading the instructions, it is very easy and Best Buy has a tendancy to do things quickly and not do a quality job. They ruined two sets of speakers by putting the grills on wrong and pinching the rubber surrounds. Ruined the speakers. Do it yourself, even with the free install.
