Strength:

Lot of Tunability, can get your music loud, good radio tuner as well

Weakness:

None really, skips the cd when my car is going 100 down the freeway, cuz I have no shocks and it vibrates really bad.

Have been very happy with my Austin so far lots of ways to perfectly tune the music. Always, been a strong supporter of Blaupunkt.

Strength:

Price, bright display, nice big volume control, 3V pre outs, sub out, great sound.

Weakness:

Face is a little hard to press on, but not too bad, once on its very secure, unlike Pioneer. Has a little trouble with cheap cdr-s.

This is probrably the most feature packed budget cd player out there. Where else can you get 3 sets of 3V pre outs-including a sub out, CD labeling, Radio station Labeling, rotary volume control, 4 level Bass bosst at 72hz, wireless remote etc, etc, for $124?

Strength:

Clean looking (I hate gimmicks), solid performance, easy to use.

Weakness:

I could do without the sound level display that shows left and right output. Again, I can''t stand gimmicks. Fortunately, the Blaupunkt''s display is still relatively straightforward compared to the absolute cheesy crap that I have seen on other manufacturers.

Awesome unit! Very flexible for options. I love the immediate improvement in sound quality compared to my factory system. I also like the fact that this unit can facilitate external amps and subs as I upgrade.
