Sound quality, flexibility, price.?

Too many colors in the display, but I fixed it with a colored marker inside the removable faceplate! Faceplate alignment just loose enough that sometimes pushing the "up" button on tuner/menu control resets the display as if I just turned the unit on. Jiggle the faceplate and it''s gone. A minor nuisance.

I replaced the head unit on my BMW 318ti with the Casablanca, feeding into the existing amp and 10 speakers. What an improvement! The FM reception is very good, but nothing revolutionary. The CD player is excellent. The sound control through the digital equalizer is excellent. No one should buy a car head unit that has no equalizer! This one is very customizable, and works great. Audio presets for different cars/music are of limited use, but hey, they''re here if you want ''em. Good power and frequency response, very good signal-to-noise on CDs.
