Strength:

Motorized clear crisp sound lighting effects, tons of options z enhancer.

Weakness:

HUGE THICK FACE PLATE... no play pause buttons on the face itself. spectrum analyzer only works if you buy their EQ

i paid 400 for mine new. I would recomend it to others. It sounds nice and i heard other head units before mine liek alpine 7949 and pioneer 8000r. Not as flashy as the pioneer 8000 but far better clarity.

Strength:

motorized face, lcd screen, sound quality receiver, and too much to list.

Weakness:

None so far.

I have the clarion drx9575rz head unit and its the bomb. I love it and its one of the best sound quality decks I've had. It has a lot of features which you wouldn't use but its nice to have them. I'm totaly satisfied with it and I love the motorized face on it. I compared the clarion with pioneer P1R and eclipse 5506 and the clarion impressed me a lot more. I paid $450 for this deck and it was worth it.

The 9575 is an awesome headunit as long as you buy the 7500z dsp. I had the 9575 for about two before the 7500z that was out of stock got to me, but ever since I hooked it up using the supplied c-net digital cabel it has been a sobering experience. I am recomending this setup to any one who wants total control of their parametric, graphic, and spacial eq's,and listening position selector from the source unit while the processer resides in the trunk.

This head unit is a beauty. Sounds alright. You are just paying for the screen saver that isn't even in 3D. Z-enhancer is another worthless gagdet. No attuenator button, instead they have a mute button. Display leaks light from the sides. Screen saver is nice. For $900 retail? There isn't much to say about it.

Strength:

Pre-Amp, Screen savers, user friendly, beautiful headunit.

Weakness:

MUST use the screensavers at night or be forced to wear shade.

Excellent headunit. Upgraded after my Clarion DRX9275lz finnaly died after 6 years of service. The volume knob is a great addition, and so is the title track select for the cd-changer. Pre-Amp is the only way to go.
