I love my cdplayer. Its great. I looked around and around before I chose one and PC an owner of a store helped me pick the right one and it was worth it. I love it. It sounds so much better compared to other systems that my friends have. They even agree with me one that. It has 18FM/6AM, 30 Title cd memory (very cool), CD-MD changer with ability to hook up up to 6 separate changers, built-in spectrum analyzer

Model Reviewed: Model 54430

Strength:

None, not customer service, nor sales can or will help you to resolve their quality control issues.

Weakness:

Stereo skips, skips, skips, it doesn't matter what the CD Label is the stereo is trash. And now the face plate on the refurbished unit I got two weeks ago Sticks open. This is Hell in a very poor product.

Very Poor Quality, Skips ALOT, last unit I traded it out for and this is the 10-13th time not only skips the face plate sticks open. I have called every body at Fijitsu and get no results, "QUALITY CONTROL" do you think the manufacturer knows the meaning to word? I have been to hell with this stereo and this company and even after calling the CEO Mr. Kita I spoke with his assistant Grant who put me through to Sheila in sales who was rude and condesending telling me I should be speaking to service, if I had been able to resolve something with service I wouldn't be desperate to find someone to help at this company. I have been dealing with this since 1999, and I bought a new unit, and they are sending refurbised ones.

It doesn't this is the worst product I have ever used, Even a 300. JVC is superior to this one.

Strength:

3 sets of preouts, possible upgrades (EQ, DSP, Navigation), very bright display, great sound quality

Weakness:

Finicky about CDRs, no detachable face or 180 degree flip face.

Very impressive deck with all the functions that you would like. 3 sets of preouts, a nice display, and very clear, detailed sound produced. Possible upgrades include EQ, DSP, Navigation, possible with a seperate Commander unit. A detachable face, or a 180 degree flip face would've been preferred, but it IS ECLIPSE and they never offered those and probably never will. The CD player is sensitive towards CDRs so beware. A few tweaks, and the deck could've been perfect....

Similar Products Used:

I've tried a Alpine CDM-7961, and Nakamichi 45z. The Alpine does have better basic features of playing CDRs, but doesn't come close in sound quality. The Nakamichi 45z is very comparable in features and sound.
