rotary knob remote controal,esn technolagy,daisy chain features,ease of controals.sub woofer phase alignment(in or out of phase),sub controal,really like the ease of voice control w/connection of the 9002 e-com unit.and

dim display view,even when tilted.skipps badly at lower freq,tones snd high volume.. owning a japaneese vehicle reeks havoc on the internal microprocessors simulating skippage on the 2000 modell 5504+5506.although indash 6-disc (double_din opening)5962 and rear 8_disc5083 have never missed a beat....happy to say! sadly 5504 has been in 3 times 4 repair!!and have to use older 5341r as stand in while out 4 repairs which also never misses a beat..(but has slightly cracked display due to a foild...robery atempt.....

I have always had nice sounding audio systems in all of my vehicles. weither it be sq, or spl. and have used countless components ,and manufactures,brands,and models......etc.
but i would have to say i extreamly enjoy driving handsfree while operating the main controls of my head unit vocally.and with the e-com upgrade for the 5504 its even better now!!!!!!!!
between the voice activation and the remote controal i cant remember when ive actually physically touched my source unit.
which lets me drive instead of fiddling whith the radio...
and the 5504 can dial your phone for u too.
all around I will never go back ,to using any of my before favorate source units!!!! even with the skip,skip,skip....
