Strength:

70x4 amp sounds great, no need for external with my components; Aesthetics are great; Crossover and IEQ allow for VERY picky sound adjustments; PICT works great; RCA input great for hooking up mp3 players on the fly(plus mine from SonicElectronix came with a FREE IPOD adapter)

Weakness:

menu does have a learning curve, but after you get used to it, nothing else seems to be up to par

I've had SEVERAL JVC units after having success with the first one I bought. I'm an avid JVC fan, so for me to say that this deck is by far the best I've ever used. The display is unlike any I've owned before, with PICT technology. And the Equalizer and built in crossover works great for the 70x4 built in amp. I'm running 2 pair of components without any gripe. Plus the Sub-Output has an adjustable built in crossover, so there's no playing with the amp every time I need to make a slight adjustment.

And I haven't even mention the look of the deck itself. The black finish on the face with the blue backlighting on the buttons really sets it off.

The only complaint I could have, if I tried really hard to come up with something viable, would be that the menus did take a little while to get used to.

All JVC unit have stood the test of time. Great Sound, Great Features... Just expect to pay a little more for you deck to get the one that you'll really enjoy
