Model Reviewed: Kenwood KDC-MPV7019

Strength:

Great looks; Large remote with numbered buttons allows one to easily select a track.

Weakness:

Everything else

Sound output is generally weak, unclean, and distorts easily at moderate to high volumes. Default/flat crossover frequencies are set too high, making it very dificult to achieve good speaker response. At low volumes, trebble and high midrange are usually the only audible sounds. The eject motor often lacks the power to eject self-labeled cds, leaving the user with no option but to pry it out with his/her fingers. I have seldom experienced non-functioning face-plate controls with the only fix being to take the face-plate off and put it back on again.
