Camryboy
Model Reviewed: MP-228

Strength:

Good simple looks - no psychdelic displays, ample power, MP3, removable faceplate, easy install (for me anyway).

Weakness:

Needs more presets & volume knob should stick out or have serated edge - minor things.

This is a great little receiver for the price. It plays cd's, mp3's, etc. It looks good without being to incredibly flashy. Power is adequate for my needs (car: 94 Camry 2 dr coupe, Sony Implode 6.5 frt & 6 x 9 rear speakers). Install was effortless. Could use more presets (6) & the volume knob (not a rocker button) could stick out more or be knurled on the edge for a better grip. Also, removable faceplate. Crutchfield wiring kit made wiring easy. All in all, you can't go wrong for the price. It cranks!
