Strength:

Sturdiness of the unit, good sound customization

Weakness:

Distortion at high volumes, though most players will do this

This came in the car I just recently purchased. I'm happy about how good the quality is, the tuning it lets you do to customize to your ears, and the effects the screen plays are pretty cool as well.
Only thing is I have a 350 engine, with the piping cut off underneath the drivers and passengers side seating. So I have to turn up the volume pretty loud, and when its enough to when I can hear it, the sounds a bit distorted.

Weakness:

none

Bought this for my 72 monte about a month or so ago and i love it. Has everything i need and nothing i dont. has one preout for an amp and if i ever got an amp one would be fine. i dont ever use mp3 discs all i cared about was cd-rw compatibility which it is. sound quality is great and really performs over other HU's with the 50wx4 and mosfet amplifier.

Strength:

Looks good - not too loud. Easy to use buttons, great power. Easy to install. Labels and display easy to read

Weakness:

none.

I just got this unit to replace my Blaupunkt Honolulu (junk), which had a faulty volume knob, and broken right channel. I have to say that for the price, this thing is awesome. 10-15 years ago, this player would have been $400-$500 with the same features. Adjustable EQ, Loudness control all work well. The person at Best Buy told me that the "6" indicates that this is a 2004 model - not sure how true that is?
