Strength:

This unit has great power, good selection of audio selection features, and a very good tuner. The CD has handled everything I have put in including some older scratched discs without a problem. The FIE is a good feature as well. Controls are somewhat intuitive and easy to use. The 2 year warranty is a nice bonus. Fits nice in the GM dash.

Weakness:

The display is not very bright, I have trouble seeing it in the daylight. This is probably exagerated since it is in a pickup and the ambient light from the rear window hits the display directly. No subwoofer output. The 2 sets of pre-outs are less than 2 volts which may be an issue if you plan to use an external amp

Paid $299 at a local dealer. I would give this unit a good recommendation. It,s worth a look especially if your fitting into an oversize dash opening.

Similar Products Used:

Replaced the factory AM/FM cassette and there is a huge difference in sound quality and power even with the factory speakers.
