Strength:

Great display! I knew which headunit I wanted the first time I laid eyes on it.

Weakness:

I like everything about it!

I would recommend this unit to anyone who loves their music. I paid $452 for it :( but it turns out that my neighbor know the dealer and he's going to try to get back about $300 of that :P

AWSOME visual effects! I love it! Everyone else does too, especially the chicks. Can really clean up a systems sound! Perfect for anyone with subs and aftermarket highs.

Weakness:

Can be distracting. So attractive, it gets stolen! Kinda useless if you dont have anything aftermarket. Kinda expenssive, but it's worth it if you want to show off your system.

Great stereo! Got my mom to buy it in return for my old Pioneer tape deck and CD-changer. What a difference it made! My factory Infinity system really sound alot clearer when i turned on the HPF. Blew the factory tweeters though, just to much power. It was a great stereo. Unfortunatley it was stolen from my truck a couple days ago. But thats ok. My insurence is gonna pay for it and now im getting the new P-730.

This is the BEST deck I have ever seen in my life it is so awesom nothing can compare to it. The display is insane all the screensavers it has, I even heard that you can put more on it I just havent figured out how to do that.

Weakness:

IT blinks from blue to black at night and that sometimes distracts me but its cool as hell,

I have had no trouble with this deck, It has an awesom Remote control that mounts to your stearing wheal(Thats what made me buy it) and I am glad I did.

Strength:

This radio has everything one could imagine. The organic display makes it easier to see during the day. The graphics always gets attention and what really makes this radio the bomb is that it actually performs and not just look good.

Weakness:

If you are not running subwoofers a lot of the features are useless. The "att" button is on the remote and not on the face and it doesn't fade in and out it just blast the music back once you press it again. It is difficult to replace the face once you have taken it off.

I love this radio. It always gets attention whenever someone rides in the car. It has many many options for you to choose your specs. It even makes listening to the plane radio a pleasure

3 hi-volt preamp outputs, built in 180watt mosfet amp, Organic EL Display, Plenty of options

Weakness:

nothing

Everyone who sees it is amazed. definitely handles my dual 12" Rockford XLT's and pioneer 3-way compression horn 6x9's extremely well, Haven't had any trouble outdoing anyone else's system at the stop light with any distortion at all. This headunit kicks ass. I would definitely recommend this receiver to anyone looking for a high performance unit without going over $300. This unit is so awesome you have to see it for yourself, I can't say enough about it.

Strength:

You can fine-tune your sound any way you want to. There are so many options and so many ways to tweak your system. The OEL display is really sweet. Everyone who has seen this deck is totally blown away by it.

Weakness:

I wish there were some more screen savers. Hey Pioneer, why don't you make some sort of after-market add-on to load up some more screen savers on the reciever. The radio reception isn't as good as Pioneer says it is either. They go off on their MOSFET radio tunning, and it isn't much to brag about. I also agree with another review about the detachable face. It does take a while to get used to.

I paid about $320 bucks for this thing online including the shipping. I am really happy with this deck. There are so many possiblities and so many things you can do with this system. It made an enormous difference out of my p.o.s. stock speakers. For $320 dollars, I don't think you can find a better deck with all those options. I'm totally down with the OEL displays. Even if you do get tired of them, you can always change the display so nothing is moving on the screen. The key word with this system is "options." They are endless, even when it comes to the sometimes cheesy OEL display. This is one of the most advanced systems I've seen, and you can not beat the price.

Strength:

Friends love OEL, great cd sound, TONS of options

Weakness:

I hate OEL, tacky looking, bad tuner, annoying tuner search, TOO many options sometimes.

Great deck, sounds great, tuner doesn't seem very great (better stations on my old pioneer), and OEL is..ok. The dolphins and screensavers are intersting for a whole .2 seconds, then you never use them again. OEL EXTREMELY tacky looking, the MOST pixellicious thing I've ever seen, worse than a gameboy. LOTS AND LOTS of options to fine tune your sound, which to some is nice, and to others is time consuming and annoying. You're paying for a tacky looking screen.

Quality and ability to make sound just the way I want it

Weakness:

Detachable face is not the best one in the world

Overall, excellent unit. Great sound quality and visual effects. A lot of controls and ways to customize output. Great display graphics.
Be carefull with detachable face though, it takes some time to get used to attaching/detaching it, feels like really easy to break if you'll put just little too much pressure. Other than that, it is really worth $285 I paid for it.
One more thing I should add. This unit will play CD-R and CD-RW disks too, and those disks can be recorded at any speed. Haven't found a disk yet which this unit wouldn't play :)

Strength:

I absolutely love it. All my friends do too. Even a friend with a $600 Eclipse(a few years old, but still, it's an Eclipse!) likes it. The OEL Display is just awesome. All the sound adjustment capabilities. The Spectrum Analyzers, can't say enough about 'em. Built in Crossovers. Soooooooo many features.

Weakness:

There is nothing that I don't like about it!

I paid $290 ($310 after shipping) at www.smilephotovideo.com. For this price (and several hundred dollars more) there simply is no better head unit. It brought new life into my factory speakers (soon to be replaced). Don't get the Deh-7200. For only $24 more, you can't afford not to get this one. I would definitely recommend it!
