Strength:

DETACHABLE FACEPLATE...CONTROLS...LOOKS

Weakness:

people tell me it skips alot....hmm... not for me...guess im a lucky one

overall i cant say ive had the typical skipping problems everyone else has been having. i think this is the best deal for the money. sleek looks open and closed and the best part that distinguishes this model from all the other "khameleon" face-plate models is that the face is detachable.....the only one out of the whole bunch!! cause lets face it, everyone knows about the "stealth faceplates" so theyre not safe. the controls are great on this model, almost as good as some of the high end premiers that pioneer has put out.

Strength:

Nice display, Great Sound, Remote (supplied) works really well and is very sensitive still after 1 year of use. Has tv, cd changer, and mobilphone hookups as well as seperate sub controlls.

Weakness:

sometimes when the cd skips, (while driving off curbs) it takes awhile to play again.

This stereo is the best I have owned so far. I always trust Sony cd players because, after all, they invented cd's! I can hit the railroad tracks doing 50 without a skip.

Strength:

great apperance, great sound, EQ7, DSO

Weakness:

it skips your cd a little but its still fine

This is a great reciever! The apperance is great and it has two theft deterent systems (detachable face and stealth). But it also has great RMS output and it has EQ7 which is really hard to find. It also has DSO which makes speakers that are in the doors seem like they are in the dash. When i bought this reciver it also came with free speakers. which were a 100$ speakers that were 3 way sony xplods.

This CD receiver comes with many bells and whistles that are very impressive and functional. The remote system works very well and is easy to use. The display is very direct and easy to understand and see. Functionally the system is very well designed and very easy to use. The one drawback however, to this player is its ability to play a cd. The player has a strong tendency to skip when accelerating from a stop, when traveling around a corner or making a turn and on occasion when coming to a quick stop. This cd player would be a very good by if you don''t mind your cd''s pausing when you do anything other than drive in a straight line. Be cautious when purchasing this player.
