Strength:

It performed well when I had it

Weakness:

After over a year of good performance, and about 5 headunits, my newest Clarion seemed to put an end to it. Smoke literally rolled out of the EQ and it never worked again.

If it would work, it would all be good

Strength:

24db slope on sub crossover is great. The cheapest product on the market that will give you all this control over your bass. Those lights are cool.

Weakness:

Hard to tell what setting you have it at if the light isn't perfect. Find myself turning on interior lights whenever I want to adjust it.

For the money I think its the best you can do. To get more features you have to really step up to a much higher price range. Using bass boost on an amp usually just results in muddy bass, but with the parametric eq i can bost it and keep it clean.

For the price and room that this Alpine EQ/Processor uses, it is one of the best in it's class. Beatiful light display also compliments this unit with good sound quality. Built in Electronic Crossover performs as well as expected and overall is good. Would recommend for low priced Processor.
