Strength:

Great features including voice navigation, fast DVD maps, great coverage of roads and businesses in USA, crisp display, excellent tracking with gyrosensor even in an underground parking since direction changes and speed (using VSS) are measured.

Weakness:

Canada limited to major areas. No Alaska or Hawaii. Route guidance does not use forest roads or other dirt roads. Voice guidance sometimes makes mistake without confirming.

Awesome functionality and features. This unit is light years ahead of others in the market. It is also the best value for money in the integrated Navigation and monitor head unit package. I installed it in my Toyota 4Runner in the double DIN mount after removing my stock unit. First thing I noticed was that the sound was much better for CD and radio. The voice guidance is impressive and is useful for things like finding a gas station or restaurant in the vicinity, returning home etc. The tracking of the car is superb with the extra sensors even when Satellite info is not availabe. The map coverage in my area is excellent. I went on unmaintained dirt/forest roads through and they were on the map. The only thing was the zooming out in order to navigate through a maze of forest roads is tough because when you zoom out far enough, forest roads aren't displayed, only major roads. Also, route guidance doesn't work for these roads. This is a minor quibble since I'm impressed they show on the map. Canada only covers major areas and some non-major highways suddenly end on the map when they actually continue and network to other major roads etc. Wishlist: I'd like a full Canada map just like the Us including the islands etc. Major metro areas such as Vancouver, BC are covered well though. An "forest/dirt road (offroad)" guidance mode would be useful to be able to guide you when in dirt/unmaintaned roads since most of them are on the map. Final call: Excellent value for money and if you have been thinking about a nav system like me for a long time, this one is finally worth the wait.
