Strength:

Highs, clarity

Weakness:

Low volume, no bass

I agree with everyone who said these speakers put out very little volume. My factories delivered fuller sound. The highs are good, but my 22W RMS from my HU just isn't enough to put out any sound from these speakers.

Strength:

Clear and accurate. A warm, blanced tone. Everyone who hears them is impressed. Excellent build quality.

Weakness:

None....Whatsoever.

Installed four of these in my 2001 Jeep Cherokee, using an Alpine head Unit and JBL 4 channel amp. Used them for awhile before installing the amp and had none of the volume problems others describe here. They sounded great without the amp but wanted to take full advantage of the speakers capabilitys. They are incredibly clear and defined, and have such impressive bass that I dont see the need for a subwoofer. There is absolutley no distortion at any sound level.

Strength:

Clear Sound Looks Cool Easy Install

Weakness:

Low Volume LOOOOW amount of bass

These speakers sound good, next to no distortion, and very clear highs and midrange. However, I can turn the volume up ALL THE WAY on my Pioneer 9200R and they sound about as loud as my old Clarions at about half the volume. I''''m getting an amp to power them soon, hopefully that makes a different.

Strength:

I'm in love with these speakers. The highs sound f@#$n' clear! The mid bass is one of the best that I've heard. Worth the dough.

Weakness:

The highs can get a little piercy.

Overall I love these speakers. My friend works at a stereo shop so I have heard a variety of different speakers. I finally have the sound that i always wanted and tried so hard to achieve.I am running a pair of them off a Fosgate(I think its a 150IV) its the older model amp with the crossover chip. I also bought a 6-1/2 Fosgate Fanatic component set. I'm not sure if I want to install them. I'm debating if I should get some Infinity's for the front. If anyone has any comments or opinions please feel free to email me.

Strength:

These speakers are great! I have 2 in the front doors and 2 in the rear deck of corolla. And I have 1 -10" Infinity Perfect Sub in the trunk. I have the 4 speakers running off my Pioneer Premier 720 headunit and they sound awesome. I have 22 watts running each of them right now, but I am going to get a Pheonix Gold 6 channel amp (50x4 + 300x1) and that is going to sound soooooo nice.

Weakness:

I like everything about these speakers.

I paid $129 per pair and I would recommend these to anybody.

ps: KORN sounds excellent with these speakers!

I went directly from the factory speaker to the Kappa's, but I did do a lot of shopping around and these are definitly worth the money.

Strength:

excellent build quality,superb sound

Weakness:

haven't found any

I have these mounted in custom kick-panel pods facing upward and rearward towards the center of cab ceiling. They are being powered with 100 watts RMS from an Autotek SX2150 amp. As far as I am concerned, there is no match for the Emit tweeters out there. These speakers also have an excellent mid-bass, mid-range response and sound quality. I believe the MSRP is actually $350, they are sold at Crutchfield for $250, and I got mine online for $165 shipped from Chuck at MarinePhysicians@aol.com

These speakers have great mids and highs! I am waiting for my new Pioneer DEHP 8200R to come in to push these a bit more. I plan on sending them a single through the built in high pass filter from my new CD player once I get it. These speakers are very clear and very loud!

Weakness:

They do distort with the bass and volume turned up (see above about high pass filter)

I am quite happy with these speakers and as long as they last, I will continue to buy products from Infinity. I also have the 572.1cf 5"x7" / 6"x8" speakers in the rear of my car. They sound pretty good with my old Clarion, but I can't wait to hear them once I get my new 8200R!

Strength:

They look nice............

Weakness:

Over-Priced, no volume, lacking build quality where tweeter and midrange are glued, rattle.

I'm sorry folks. These are the lousiest speakers I have ever owned. When I opened the box, I thought they were beautiful, and the quality appeared to be excellent. They looked promising. Boy, was I wrong. They have absolutely no volume. At first I thought it was my amp(Kenwood), so I bought a Sony amp with more power. The speakers sounded slightly louder, but not even close to what I expected of them. Then I rewired them. Nothing. Then, after a few months, I listened to them without my subs. It sounded like they were playing underwater. Extreme distortion at very, very low volume levels. They were getting a high pass cutoff, and the bass was muddy and severely distorted. Then they started to rattle and fall apart. I finally hooked up my gross Boss amp and gave them 125watts of RMS power. Bass was better, highs are blurred and have no detail. The speakers rattle more then ever, and are falling apart. I have four of these in my car. Friends tell me they cant hear my speakers very well. I tell them that these are supposed to be one of the best speakers. I'm getting rid of these very soon. I've done everything to try to make them sound good, and the just dont. Very disappointing speakers =(
NOT ALL INFINITY PRODUCTS ARE BAD......KAPPA PERFECT SUBS ARE AWESOME, SO DONT THINK I HATE INFINITY.
