They were pretty inexpensive for their performance rating. The highs are simply extraordinary with the receiver amp. The bass is good but I need to stabilize the rear deck to prevent vibrations. You can turn up the volume w/o getting a lot of noise, static, or breakup that is common with OEM "speakers".

The wire grille didn't fit my car. I was so ready to make it look "tricked out" when I figured out the rear seat would get in the way. Back in 1981 Ford wasn't really into the "rear" deck deal.

I don't enjoy loud music unless I'm ready to vent or something (stress, etc). But these speakers do more than deliver at their price. Imagine buying movie tickets to the premier of "The Matrix", the one where the actors come as well. Not only do you buy the tickets, but you get a personal invitation to the post-movie dinner with the actor(s) of your choice. So not only are you getting decent speakers, but you're getting the full package - a speaker that has seat pounding bass, glass shattering highs, and a clear but powerful midrange for around $100 US.

OEM speakers. The Blaus simply blow them away. They're very inexpensive and if you're not willing to add amps and other junk like that, these will suit your in-dash receiver. Add subwoofers and other stuff - you're all set.

A lot of Sound, no noise, just sound.

Don't turn the bass to far up because it dornws out the Vocals and Treble.

I love them, I own a Ford F-350 Crew Cab and they sound awesome. I like the big sound it puts out.
