Strength:

got to be the clear treble

Weakness:

none

The clearest components ive heard in a long time! Installed in a vw golf 3 the imaging is excellent image comes straight of the screen. Im running these of a alpine v12 amp and alpine head unit which seems to be perfect. Well impressive! More clarity then bass from the mids but the sub fills in the lows. A definte good buy for the money.

Model Reviewed: 2000 Alpine 12" Type R

Strength:

Bass is very loud and sound quality is great.

Weakness:

bass to intense off low signals!
Precision of signal to bass could be better.(Off by .025 of a second)

Sound Quality is great, low bass signals are crisp with a small enclosed box. Running a Alpine 1500 watt amp, slightly over powering them though there 1000 watt peak and 300 constant power suply. Running four 6 by 9's from a Pioneer DEH-1000 Mosfet 45w by 4 Super Tuner 3. Used in a hatchback mustang. I rate the 2 Type R, 9 out of 10. (Used for Compititions)all together around 1200$.

Rockford would do the same or better but they cost lots more!
