Model Reviewed: 1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD

Strength:

good quality, sound down in the low volume area is clear.

Weakness:

They suck up the power. I've got a blaupunkt Houston deck (47x4) and these speakers begin to distort at medium high volume. An amp is a must for these.

Overall I would avoid these. I want to be able to run my front and rears from the deck and only use an amp for the sub.

Similar Products Used:

Sonly xplod V1331 5 1/4" 3way. Much cleaner sound, run great off the deck.

Model Reviewed: 93 Escort Lx

Strength:

good overall sound quality for the money, a little less the 2" mounting depth needed, holds up well at high voulme

Weakness:

lacks what the big boys deliver but compare the price. A little weak in the bass department but not too bad.

Great for a low budget system with a sub to back it up. Can't go wrong for the price.

Similar Products Used:

Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony. Clearly better than the other budget speakers with the same mounting depth.
