Strength:

Compact, deep bass for such a small speaker (prolly well into the 100Hz range), swivel tweeters for exact positioning, heavy duty woofer cone, excellent power handling.

Weakness:

Well, they are 4" speakers! If you want some thump in the trunk you have to step up to at least a 5.25" speaker.

These are amazing component speakers. I had a Saab 900 with 4" openings for the dash speakers. I pulled out the CRAP Saab stock speakers and put these muthas in there... HOLY COW! What a difference! I powered these bad boys off a Sony amp (50 watt RMS) and they really sounded great. The tweeters swivel within the flush mounting allowing for optimal positioning. And the little 4" woofers actually could produce some great bass and mid-range frequencies. I was really surprised! I listen to a lot of electronic music and it all sounded so full with the speakers. And the highs were (of course) crystal clear. I would highly recommend these for anyone with a Saab 900 (up to 1994 when the body styles changed) or anyone who has small dash speaker holes. They rock!

Strength:

THE TWEETERS ARE GREAT, AND LOOK ELEGANT IN MY NISSAN.

Weakness:

I WISH I HAD GOTTEN 6.5 INCH FOR THEY WOULD HAVE FIT MY DOORS PERFECT, YOU SEE I ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THEM FOR MY CELICA GT. BUT THAT IS MY FAULT NOT THE SPEAKER, I MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN BETTER MID'S.

THESE ARE VERY NICE FOR THE PRICE. THE HIGHS ARE INCREDIBLE. MIDS ARE NICE FOR SUCH A SMALL SPEAKER.

Similar Products Used:

JENSEN, CLARION, THUMP!(CRAP), SONY, PIONEER, AUDIOBOX, I THINK THEY WERE CALLED HOLLYTRON (BIGGER CRAP BY ANY NAME).
