Strength:

They handle a tremendous amount of power for being 6 1/2" speakers. They never distort (unless you don't have enough power going to them)They have amazing crisp and clear highs. Handles bass really well. The speakers design is just simply beautiful!JBL ROCKS!!!

Weakness:

They have a very low SPL level. But besides that, NOT A THING!

Very good speakers. Amazing treble, high quality and long lasting. These JBLs are probably the best 6 1/2" speakers out there.

Similar Products Used:

BOTTOM of the line Pioneer 6 1/2". Which you couldn't hear at all, and were the worst buy.

Model Reviewed: 2001/GTO630

Strength:

They look cool and they come with really neat grills that I still use for my kenwoods. They also pack a lot of bass, seriously.

Weakness:

Terrible sound quality. All woofer and no tweeter. Don't put these in your car.

These are terrible speakers. There was never a time when they weren't half off at the place where I bought them. They are down there with JVC's. Surprisingly, they put out an astonishing amount of bass that actually makes my car buzz. But, what they offer in bass, they lack in treble. The tweeters are just terrible. Unless you listen to rap(which isn't music anyway)you are much better off spending less money on some Pioneer dual-cones.
