Strength:
Good SPL, Good SQL, detail and clarity are very good.
Weakness:
Too much low end will cause them to clip. I recomend crossovers. Good set of speakers for the money paid. Highs are precise, clear , and imaging is very good. the lower bass response could be a little better, but mid bass is very accurate. My recomendation would be to install with a sub, and set the crossover point between 70-100Hz. This way you don't beat up the midwoofers with low frequencies, just let do what thy're good at: reproducing very lifelike (did I mention loud?) mid and upper frequencies. Infinity Reference series stuff is very close in overall sound, but these were less expensive. Similar Products Used: You name it. Everything from W**mart Jensen to Polk, and Infinity. |
