Strength:

They are really big speakers and look great once painted.

Weakness:

They are tricky to paint.

These are super dooper mega wicked banging speakers ! I play my Will Young album well loud and it sounds real cool man ! It starts to distort a bit but I just turn it up and drown out the distortion. They look ok as standard but I've painted the cones with neon paint and now they look as good as they sound !

My boyfriend's mate used to bang on an empty biscuit tin and pretend we had big speakers but these sound just as good !

Strength:

Thumpy bass, manages to produce decent sound even out of the little Alpine 7179 factory head unit I've currently got

Weakness:

My head unit, lack of an amp... oh, you mean the speakers :) none that I've picked up so far.

Very nice all around sound, I can't wait to hear these things when they're hooked up to a decent head unit and maybe an amp.

I'll be posting an update once I've gotten some decent components to go with the speakers. - the overall rating of 3 comes from what I've heard from them so far.

... this is my first purchase. Without a side by side comparrison, they're at least as good as the Sony X-Plods (6x9) in my mates car.
