Strength:

NONE

Weakness:

Sound harsh

I had to laugh when I read the first review and I agree totally with him. But you just can't get any bass from this size speaker. I returned mine and bought some rockford fosgates instead. I had to make my own crossovers from some capacitors at radio shack to block out the bass that would cause them to distort but it worked and they sound as good as can be expected without purchasing some infinity coaxials for three times the money.

Strength:

none

Weakness:

this speaker is terrable! no midbass was possible with this speaker. distortion is all you could get out of this.

the tweeters were ok but what does that matter when you have a tracing paper speaker sound for everything else. terrable speaker should be shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

don't bother to look into!

Strength:

cheap price.

Weakness:

woofer of the speaker is made out of cheap material. Dont expect them to be in good shape after 3 years.

These speakers are not as bad as the reviews say. If you are making an attempt at competition, then dont buy them. If you just want a step up from factory and you are running them from just a headunit, then these are ideal. The speakers have nice highs and a full sound for the price. I recommend bass blockers if you listen to them at high bass levels. Pioneer is a good company and they make decent cheap speakers. You get what you pay for in this case.
