i decided to go with pioneer speakers because my HU is pioneer, and it rules. anyway, i couldn''t test in-store, so i just bought them assuming they''d be worth it. however, after installing, i found that these speakers have NO BASS. AT ALL. the mids and highs are allright, albeit tinny at times, but there is NO BASS WHATSOEVER. since i''m not buying subs for a few months yet, this sickened me. i tought perhaps i had wired them wrong- nope. everything checked out. i''ve already pulled them and am opting for sony Xplod 5.25" 3-ways for the fronts, and Rockford 6.5" 2-ways for the back. better sound better.
