Strength:

It's a decent speaker to upgrade a stock system. If you get a high powered headunit or run off an external amp it can distort and should be careful. I run mine off an external amp and I'm not very happy with the performance compared to the 6x9's that I have in the back. I'm looking at upgrading to either components or a plate 4x6.

Weakness:

Good value for the price, but it completely lacks that very clear sound.

This isn't a bad speaker, but it's not a great one either. A speaker should be bought based on the preference of the listener and service it's going to be in. I bought this one originally just to upgrade, but later added amps, equalizers and such that requires a better speaker. A 4x6 is inherently poor bass quality, but especially since I run mine from an amp it really proves this point.

Factory 4x6, obviously better than a factory speaker.

Model Reviewed: TS-A4612 4"x6" 2-Way

Strength:

Its recomended to handle 20 watts. I ran it with 22 watts, it didnt destort after I put a bass-blocker on it.

Weakness:

The highs and the bass are average. Not great, but good enough for a 4x6. It can only handle 20 watts. This is good if you want to run it off your radio, but not if you want to run it with a external amp.

They cost $79 retail, a fair price for them, but you can find them for half that price at Ebay.com. I would recomend these for the every day user, who doesnt turn the system up all the way. If you are getting a real system started, but some that can handle more watts.
