Strength:

Almost subwoofer quality bass, no need to amp

Weakness:

None

Huge value, and like I said these Pioneers blow the cones off OEM speakers. Their frequency response is also impressive (28hz-26khz), and has better bass quality than the higher priced offerings from other companies (I've tested others). If you would like to upgrade from stock speakers these are a great deal, but if you are looking for studio quality sound in your car, go for the pricier 3-way Pioneer TS-A6999 with the TAD Compression Horn for higher highs.

I have had the OEM Buick speakers in my car and these Pioneers are 1,000 times better. Like I got a whole new system for $40.

Strength:

Very good speakers for the price

Weakness:

none really... I got more than I expected

I bought these for only $45, definately a bargain. They perform well at most frequencies and are excelent on the backdash. I have never amplified them, (It doesn't seem wise) but used with a high power deck they are enough to make some people ask "where is the amp?" There is some midbass (you should still try and get your hands on a woofer) but the hights and mids are crisp and clear

I would recommend these speakers to anyone on a budget

bottomline- they sound great (Don't look half bad either)
