Strength:

nice highs,nice bass

Weakness:

distort when played loud!

hooked em up in about 20 minutes, turned the kenwood deck on and they i will say that they need to be play at low to medium levels.they distort when played loud with the bass on the deck on 0.they need a small amp and x-over at about 100hz and they will sound much better.dynamat will help alot for all speakers!these speakers should be good for all of you people that have factory speakers and want better sound for under 90 bones.3 stars because they are not the best but okay speakers.

Similar Products Used:

polk,stealths,vega-these are better for highs, mids and clean sound at high volumes.

Strength:

Strong and clear.

Weakness:

None

Been using these for about 2 years running off an X904 (4x50@12v). These are components so I dont know why the previous dood thought he could run them just off the deck without an amp, that explains your distortion mate. You'll go deaf before these distort off a good amp. Im no pro but I've got my full hearing aswell. So overall I'm happy with these splits. Music is meant to be listened too not advertised through streets.

Kenwood splits (Pioneer sound cleaner, stronger and not as harsh)
