Strength:

Low cost, Tweeters in these speakers eliminate the need for stand alone tweeters, good base with high wattages

Weakness:

Lack bass even with decent wattage systems.

I have a 1990 Nissan Pathfinderand I just recently started upgrading the stereo in it. I replaced the reciever with a sony cassette that I had lying around the house from a long time ago. I plan on buying a new sony Xplod reciever at 52X4 watts to power the speakers I am upgrading to. In the front, put a pair of these. They lack bass, but that is because of my 20 watt per channel reciever. Once I give it a stronger reciever they will have good bass. As far as the highs go, they are pretty good. I thought I would need to add sperate dash tweeters to make it clearer, but these speakers ceramic tweeters eliminate the need. I currently have stock 6X9 speakers in the rear, which are 3 way, but desprately need replacing, for they are paper and sound destorted when the bass is turned to a descent level. All in all, this speaker is good for the price, but there are better sounding 6.5inch speakers out there.
