Polk Audio EX368 Speakers

Polk Audio EX368 Speakers

DESCRIPTION

Polk designed the EX3 speakers to deliver crystal-clear, full-range sound, whether they're powered by an in-dash receiver (even a "factory" model) or by an external amp. The EX368 6"x8" speakers feature a 3/4" soft dome tweeter with a Rotating Elliptical Lens — you can compensate for poor factory speaker placement by "dialing in" the image just the way you like it.

The durable mica-polymer composite woofer cone supplies impressive bass response, while the butyl rubber surround increases speaker life.

  • polymer-mica composite woofer with butyl rubber surround
  • 3/4" silk soft dome tweeter with exclusive Rotating Elliptical Lens for superior imaging
  • sensitivity 91 dB
  • frequency response 50-22,000 Hz
  • recommended power range 2-60 watts RMS
  • peak power handling 190 watts
  • top-mount depth 2-7/16"

Model Reviewed: EX368

Strength:

Much better bass and treble response than stock speakers. Midrange is not too harsh.

Weakness:

None

Drop-in replacement for stock speakers in my Protege' 5. Big improvement in sound quality (even before I change out the head unit).
