sound quality....compared ....these are being used rear stage (front stage utopias)...amazing combo....amazing midbass...anything said about this speaker is less...good job @ matt polk

well like I said great midbass...great sq...the the xo's do a great job without losing any music ...it also cuts of very low freq bass to the mids...that's great too....my car has excellent sound stage and sounds better than most high end audio systems

Well I was polk hater both in home and car audio....my hatred (or bias, if you may, towards them was tremendous)
So, I thought might as well give them a try. After i heard (i'm not sure if this is a rumor) but they come customed fitted in the new 360 modena....
okay whatever...i went to try them out in a car audio shop in Irvine
...first i heard MBQ's...."wow!!"...."not bad at all for bahu's" ...then i heard infinity's...absolutely out of this world...pure crisp bass without any extra ugly thumping before dishing out the money for the infinity's i thought i might as well hear the polks (at least, for momo's sake)....i was simply astounded....lost for words...i was not sure if it was the momo's or the shop's expensive home theatre speakers...
man these speakers are it...they redefine SQ....this is your answer to pure music...i cant believe the americans finally beat the japs and germans to car audio (well, there's good old american infinity all right!!...anyway, i feel like betrayed my hot favorites, infinity but these one's were impossible to miss!!)

...God...damn... I highly recomend these speakers. Its possible to find them on the on the internet for alot less than msrp (I got mine for about 275). These thing are well worth every penny. I have yet to hear any distortion from them. They have beutifull mids and highs, even when up load. These &@#%ers SCREEM.

These components create crisp and clear highs while providing clean mids. These babies are truly amazing.

In all honestly.. I can say I like everything about them.

Retail on these are quite expensive, but look around on the net, you can always find a better deal. I highly recommend these speakers for those whole like loud, clean, and clear music. DMB has to be my favorite band on these speakers and they fully handle all the band has to offer.

MID RANGE BASS!! nothing comes close. Tweets are also awesome and i personally think they look tight with the red dome inside the black grill. Aluminum brush on the woofer is also a nice touch.

Well for my car, after i installed the speakers and started to close the trunk i found the MOMO's have some BIGGG @$$ magnets that would rub up against the tensioner in my trunk... though it really is a minor detail when it comes to the quality you get i found it a bit annoying.

Considering these Polk MOMO speakers were the first component set i've ever owned and i would have to say they are great. For the price it will make a significant change in your sound quality. Plus the design is clean. I've replaced the factory speaker cover in the front door panel with a billet grill to match the component woofer in the back.
