Strength:

Mids, highs, good power handling, damn loud speakers. Good looking as well, I think.

Weakness:

Bass is not all it could be, but still not bad.

I agree with preceding reviews... excellent mids/highs, handles way more than 55W RMS (I''m pushing 85 with no trouble), bass needs some help. I added these to complement my front speakers and don''t regret it. Soundstage is a little far to the rear, but that''s my front speakers'' fault.

Strength:

Very loud and very accurate reproducing highs and mids, especially with an amp. Very neat looking sound very realistic

Weakness:

Not many but the bass on these speakers isnt that pretty at higher volumes.

I bought this speaker thinking that it would be able to handle all the notes that I threw at it. I first had it powered by a sony cd deck but it sounded like crap so I hooked it up to an amp feeding it around 100RMS watts. Sony recommends around 55RMS but thats a little bit conservative since I ran these babies at 100RMS for several months without trouble. These 6 * 9 can reproduce sharp notes with perfect clarity and accurate mids and some bass. Adding on an amp will dramatically improve their loudness and performance because when I hooked up the amp, I was amazed by how loud they went without distorting. The only problem that I had with this speaker was that it had some trouble producing loud bass, compared to the older sony model I had. But overall, if you want a speaker that will reproduce your mids and highs with crystal clear clarity, go for these 6x9 and you wont regret it :)

Strength:

Great higs and mids. Look cool.

Weakness:

Not enough bass to compansate for the higs and mids.

I expected alot more than what i got but i cant complain for the price i got them at. 4 way speakers arent really pratical for rear deck speakers. I get great higs and mids but not enough bass, so i bought some subs and the higs from the speakers and the lows from the subs sound great togner. recommend if you got some bass to back it up.

Strength:

Very loud. Highs and mids are very good.

Weakness:

Bass lacks a little punch, but that's probably because I don't have an amp.

These rock. Got them for $83 + $10 S/H on ebay... very good speakers for that price. Love them.

None. Replaced my blown stock speakers with these.
