I can assure you that this is not the case at all. I've taken it through rough, rough corners at above 50mph, and for a four door sedan to accompish these kinds of performance manuevers, specially within this price range, proves that it definetly is a contender. wrecker service

i got this off a good deal. and i will now only buy and highly recommend alphasonik. i have the 15 mayhem with the d1200 alphasonik amp and o mygod . i will never go back to jl,kicker.pioneer ,spl, soundstream , and other brands again .

Good power handling capability, clean clear bass, hits pretty hard for a 12".

A bit heavy in the chassis, VC's only 2.5" should be 3" minimum for the power rating. Frequency response not on par with some other competition class subs such as CV Stroker 12".

Running 1 PSW912 off a Soundstream TRX2000D. This sub seems to take whatever I've thrown at it thus far. Bang for your buck I rate it pretty high. If your looking for crazy SPL though, I would recomend something different (eg: Orion HCCA 124, or Bravox EDX12D)
