Strength:

Extreme power handling, smooth low end when provided with quality power and of course stunning looks.

Weakness:

Weight makes it very hard to build a cabinet strong enough for it making it necessary to use a forklift or four guys to move it. Pricey but if you look around, you'll find the price is all over the board.( I paid $700 )

The AWT18 is not for the lightweights. When all was said and done with the enclosure, this puppy weighed in at over 250 lbs. Built it for my 92 Suburban but ended up using it for the home theater. I am driving it with a 1000 watt rms Cinepro amp and the sub just laughs at me. I have never felt such low, smooth bass in my life. I currently have 2 stokers in vented cabinets in my other theater system and while they do play louder, they just can't reach into bottom octaves like the Audiobahn. I highly recommend this sub to anyone that is worried about "popping" their sub. It's rated to handle 4000 watts rms to which I first laughed. I'm not laughing any more. I first tried it in the Suburban with a 1000 watt Orion class D amp and soon feared my windows would break after watching them breath along with my entire interior. For that reason along with having a 250 pound projectile in the back, it was retired to home use.
