Strength:

I am an audiophile and true basshead. growing up I've always craved crisp clear highs and thunderous low end with a hard punch to the chest. I've always had to have the baddest home theater. Now being 43 and building since I was. Age15 and able to squeeze a dollar out of my neighbor for an hour of work. I have succeeded!! With 6 DC audio 15's and 2 Cerwin Vega Earthquake 18's, klipsh and Bose for highs. I decided to keep my very first subs that I spent half the summer to get, back in the day. I love these Cadence Solo Bass 12's. In 2 separate 34hz ported box's. I use them still today and they still sound amazing. Alot of my freinds can't believe how great they sound and how all that boom is only them 2 subs.

Weakness:

No weaknesses. Still sound amazing today

BREAKING OUT MAKES YOUR SUB PERFORM AT THE BEST

Weakness:

NONE AS THE SUB GETS IT FULL POTENTIOL

Well, I SURE HOPE EVERYONE BREAKS OUT THEIR SUBS FOR AT LEAST 6 HOURS ON LITTLE LESS THAN HALF VOLUME.....OTHERWISE IF YOU JUST HOOK ON AN AMP AND BLAST OUT FULL, SAY BYE BYE TO ANY SUB, YES EVEN JUGGERNAUTS,, CUZ I SEEN THEM BLOW WITHOUT BREAKING OUT IN THE 16 HOUR PERIOD....PEOPLE, BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN, BREAK OUT YOUR SUB FOR 6 HOURS(IF YOU DUNNO, THEN PLAY THE SUB ON LIKE QUARTER VOLUME AS LONG AS THE SUB GETS TO BOUNCE A LITTLE, NOT TREMBLE, THEN LEAVE IT PLAYING IN THAT VOLUME AND SOMETIME AFTER 6 HOURS YOU WILL HEAR IT GET LOUDER) AND STOP COMPLAINING BCUZ EVEN MY MTX THUNDER4000 IS SOUNDING DECENT AND IS HANDLING 400WATTS RMS, TWICE THE POWER AND HAS NOT CAUSED ANY TROUBLE YET AND MY CUZIN HAS ONE 15" CERWIN VEGA STROKER WHICH IS 1200WATTS RMS AND HE LET IT BREAK OUT, AND TOOK ABOUT 40 HOURS BEFORE IT STARTED AND NOW HE IS RUNNING 2000WATTS RMS AND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.......MY POINT IS ANY SUB CAN PERFORM WELL!

Strength:

Excellent power handling Very powerful and beats any 12" round or square sub Performs damn good in a vented box

Weakness:

I cant hear well.......( i mean in a dance song the bass is so much that it seems that the phase is out)

When i plugged this beauty with my solid audio 500 watts amp, it blew my ear drums and it sounded very kool.i am not into SPL stuff but i hv a real passion fro bass. so i used this woofer with the solid audio amp for abt 2-3 months.after that i bought a kicker 1200.1 and drove the woofer at 1 ohm load using a 0 gauge wire and a farad capacitor........OMG!!!!the woofer sounded as good as a 12" l5 or l7 ..swear....it really punched enuff bass to blow my and any 1 else's ear drums.......i will stay with this woofer. the bass is so much high or may i saw low that it really buries the vocals...so i will need a good component sys and more 6 by 9s.........buy this woofer!!!!!!

Strength:

can handle 4000 watt burps. Dual 2 ohm voice coils make for tons of instalation posablilities. Can destroy basicly any sub.

Weakness:

Cant hear too well... cops have made several theats to give me tickets (even with the jensen amp)

Subs are simply amasing. At first I was running them with the Ultrashock-a7hc (which is over 1500 watts at 1 ohm) Untill some pussies stole the it... With that amp, I hit 142db's in a Geo Tracker WITH A SOFT TOP. Now, to anyone that knows anything about SPL... You need a tight seal to produce high SPL... We did not have any seal with this top on... IT would be the equevlent of playing a normal car in an spl show with all the windows down and the trunk open. So yea... But even after that amp was stolen, I hooked them up to an itty bitty 200watt jensen amp. And even that (although it cuts out) plays those subs very very well. Excelent buy for ANY PRICE!!!!

Similar Products Used:

Kicker Solo L5/L5 match up pretty well, however, the BEAST have a much higher frequancy range. Only sub that may be better is the New Wild Beast by cadence...

Nothing!

This sub is awesome! This sub has got some big balls on it! Brass ones! I''''ve got 4 12''''s in the back of a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT Super-Cab, with 2 MMATS D100HC Amps, and 2 Cadence QXR-1 Line Drivers, and Stinger Batteries, & Capacitors, and 0-Gauge Wiring. The last time I had it metered, I hit 163.7 dB!

Strong rubber surround, tough cone, huge magnet, awesome power handling (600RMS, & 1,200Peak), incredibly loud & super SQ.

Weakness:

Im just about to go deaf, and also my tailgate is about to bust from the vibrations.

These subs are awesome!!! I have 2 12" Sub-woofers in a dual 12" ported box with 2 slot ports built by the dealer (not sure the volume of the box, or the dimensions of the ports). I have a Cadence A7 Class-D amp powering them, with an Audiobahn ABD40X 8-Volt Line Driver, and all Stinger 4-guage wires. I have them in a 1992 Ford Bronco, & im hitting a 154.7 (Loud)!!! And the sound quality at that volume is incredibly awesome!!!

Strength:

These subs hit hard and low. I read many places that they dont have very good sound quality and people are using very small sealed boxes. I went with 1.25 feet of airspace per sub and the sound quality is very good.

Weakness:

Uhmmmm. I cant hear anymore

Finished my install 3 days ago. I am running two 12" cadence beasts in the back of a Isuzu Rodeo. Powered by an Orion XTR 1400. I feel could have built the box smaller and used more of the amps power to get them to hit harder yet. I am still in need of two caps so the install is not up to potential yet. I hope to get it metered sat. Just for the hell of it. Just built it as a daily driver so SPL is not of great importance to me all though this system hits hard.

It is hard to compare my last system to this one. Very different. I do feel that they hit harder than a JL 12w3

Strength:

They are easy to take in and out of the box when they blow...seeming that I've done it at least a 1000 times in the last year.

Weakness:

Everything about them...EVERYTHING.

They friggin suck. I decided to go with Beasts after suffering with Kove Armageddon's for 2 years. I thought my luck couldn't get any worse until I purchased the Beasts. No matter what I try the tinsel leads burn off. My amp (1400 watt Cadence UltraShock) is currently turned down almost all the way and I still have gone through 6 subwoofers in the last month and a half. These things even blew listening to Britney Spears. The worst part is Cadence even admitted that they had a few "bad shipments" come in. So as of today, they have decided to give me my money back. Full refund of the $500 I paid on two 15's. Great... now its time to find another brand that is "supposed" to be good.

Kove Armageddon...I thought the Armageddon was bad until I got the Beast. The Armageddon's may not sound as good but at least they only blew every month or so instead of every week.
