Strength:

There is no sub like it. Bass has been changed. It is so deep and precise.

Weakness:

N/A

I have never dealt with subs that have such a precise and deep bass. They completely blow away the two kicker comp Vrs I had. if you are looking for a great pair of speakers you need these i got lucky my friend didn't need them. If you need something that sounds good and is powerful, you need these subs. I have four and they blow away the competition.

I HAVE DELT WITH ALOT OF SUBS AND HAVE NEVER EXPERINCED THE DEEP ACCERATE BASS THAT I GET WITH MY GROUND ZERO SUB.. ALSO I HAVE OUT OF BORDUM TRIED MY HARDEST TO BLOW ONE WITH A HOME MADE AMP FROM A LOCAL STEROE SHOP PUSHING ABOUT 3000 WATTS RMS AT .25 OHMS WITH NO PROBLEM

Weakness:

THEY ARE ONE OF THE MOST INAFICANT SUBS OUT THERE AND YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU WANT SOME ONE THAT HAS EXPERENCE WITH THEM TO BUILD YOU A BOX THAT CAN HOLD THEM

LOVE THEM THEY ARE THE BEST SUBS THAT i HAVE EVER EXPERINCED BUT UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN OVERWELLMING BASS LINE THAT MAKES YOUR HAIR RAISETHIS IS NOT THE SUB FOR YOU ALSO IN MY EXPERINCE YOU GET THIS SUB AND YOU HAVE TO HAVE A REAL GOOD AMP OR 2 OR 5 MY AMP RACK IS HAS $55OO ON IT AND I RAN OUT OF MONEY

Strength:

Very effecient for a subwoofer trapped in such a tiny enclosure. Pounds very hard and deep. Very versatile, they come in single, dual 4ohms, or dual 6 ohms. Your pick! And to top it off, they don't cost an arm and leg. Hearing is believing. Hear this one!! I'm using 2 hollywood excursion 1280 in 1.2 cubic foot enclosure, running off a bridge Infinity beta digital 100, yup, class d. It bumps.

Weakness:

Foam surround!! ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

For the price, you can not go wrong. It is definetly a sleeper sub. I highly reccomend it for anyone who wants a thumpin sub in a tiny box, put most of the other subs to shame, and anyone who is on a college budget:o)

Strength:

This sub just throbs so loud and is the clearest i have heard in a caar

Weakness:

One weakness is that it produces no midbass, but a sub isnt meant to so its not really a weakness.

I bought this sub last year and had a custom box built with The 12 inch sub and a 15inch passive in the box. This setup is run by a MTX pro3002 which pushes out 750 watts rms. The signal runs through a Phoenix Gold Powered Line driver and a bass cube. This is an unbelievable setup. I know the amp isnt the best for the sub but it makes the sub scream. The only real problem with the ground zero is that the manufacturer is slow if you have a problem. There is nothing worse than being without a sub for a month. I ripped the spider on the first one and with the second....still going good

The ground zeros are just a bunch of hype. They do puond pretty hard but they have poor sound quality. There is too much cone play. They need either a stiffer cone or a reduced excursion. My friend has two of them powered by a soundstream tarantula. Plenty enough power for them to handle.

Although the entire Ground Zero line sounds relatively 'bad' in a pure SPL setup, consideration should be given as I have heard NO drivers that sound good in that type of setup. A setup that involved a 2.6 cu ft vented enclosure using two Scan-Speak flow resistive vents with a dvc Nuclear 12" woofer is the best sounding, tightest, deepest, most accurate sub I have heard to date. Talk about impressive. Ported designs do yield more spl, but that enclosure with the Nuclear 12 was IMPRESSIVE. I've been hooked ever since then. It's all about the application and installers knowledge.
