DEEP BASS and clear! Great bass and insanely clear.

Can tend to rattle a little too much and get out of control.

I love these subs and will continue to use them until I find another reason to not.

These subs are worth every penny. Ibought two with a subbox and only have a 200 watt amp right now and it shakes all my mirrors.If you ever find them, BUY THEM. They are great.

The drivers suspension may bottom if power greater than 55W high current(160W low current)is applied below Fo.This driver was never intended for power in this range in a ported enclosure and care must be taken.

I'm an acoustic engineer and in my years of experience I have tested, built, and sold many drivers.I bought two Jensen XS1212 drivers and it took 52 hours to break them in with a modulated sine pulsing form 20 to 75 hz at 40W.These drivers are exceptionally efficient and possess the inherent properties(Qms and Qts) required to be used in quarterwave and foldedhorn enclosures.When properly loaded into a resonating enclosure a single driver can exceed (vehicle cabin)130 dB(50-55Hz) with 30W high current and maintain a F3 of 30Hz and an Fo of 26hz.Using stock deck,no amplifier, literally my voice will flutter with the pulsing sound waves and the vehicle as a whole resonates violently.After 5 minutes my ears were in pain for 6 days.A superior driver.Powerful amplifiers mean nothing-acoustics mean everything.JF

Awesome subwoofer for the price. I have 2 of these things in my car, with a 400 watt amplifier pushing both of them in parallel. These things pound if you put them in a huge box. I had an MTX Thunder 6000 before, and this thing hits about equal to my old MTX. It is a little more throaty though and has more range than my MTX did. And for the price, ya can't go wrong. Eventually I'm gonna go bigger... probably ta 2 Rockford Fosgate subs and amps, but until then... this is good enough. My neighbors seem ta think so ;-)

My girlfriend bought me one of these 12" subs for my birthday at a pawn shop for thirty-five dollers. I built a big bandpass box for it and I have to say that it sounds pretty damn good. I play a lot of bass cd's through it and it handles everything pretty good.I abuse it very hard and it still sounds good. It sends loud deep bass waves that you can hear across a parking lot. for a medium powered speaker it sounds and handles really good.

varun maharaj is gay. hes odviousley lost and desperate to be cool cuz i neverever in my 3 years of spl comp seen a jensen in 1-2...wait i never saw a jensen even in the finals. i would run one of our weakest 10s with half the usual wattage and butcher that cheapass jensen. if he has what it takes may 9th bestbuy in wooster ohio DB drags.

well its trash i use to hangout with my friends at JELLIS and we use to pop them for fun. i would recommend this sub to a trash can thats about it. if u want power get a JUGGERNAUT or a DD.

very strong and suprising, gave me a whole new outlook, ive got one right now in a box with a mtx 6000 and the jensen definetly hits harder, wirth the money with enough of them comp ready
